Who better to help you with a challenge then someone whose been through it. Irene’s empathy and compassion come shining through, along with getting to the core issues that create cravings. This is a hands on approach and Irene skillfully helps you to create positive lasting change with tangible results. She gives you a better understanding as to what’s behind cravings and then gives you the tools to truly help you on the road to recovery and self acceptance. I highly recommend this.

This book really gets to the heart of cravings, what causes them, and how to mitigate those causes. It is obvious that Irene does not just dispense advice from an experts view, but continues to walk the walk.
I really love all of the examples from the author’s own life, and those of her clients. It was so easy to identify with them and made me feel like Irene really understood my journey, my frustrations and my struggles. I am excited to see where the Diet-free lifestyle takes me!

A refreshingly insightful and practical book about our relationship with food. This book has solid science – based information along with a deep understanding of the mental and emotional factors that make us over-eat. I loved this book!

FANTASTIC BOOK! I’ve learned a great deal and feel so much better about my relationship with food!
“Loved this easy to digest, ground-breaking book!”
“Loved this easy to digest, ground-breaking book!””This book is not only a pleasure to read, it’s a book that explains why pleasure (not pain) is crucial to weight-loss. This is great news! One of my favourite lines in the book was: “I believe it’s wrong to deny yourself the foods that are just pure pleasure to eat. It’s like saying, “I don’t deserve pleasure.” For me, this philosophy is both eye-opening and life-saving. I won’t berate myself again for eating chocolate!Supported by easy-to-understand science, this is a new way of managing food that centres on you being good to yourself. Irene Jorgensen explains what food cravings and bingeing actually are and both surprised me. I learned why eating all the foods I love is the ONLY way to lose weight. But that’s not all. She helps you understand why it’s important to feel your emotions and then how to break free from the destructive emotions that are connected to food. I’m not only looking at food in a whole new way, I’m excited to find a way of eating that means no guilt nor broken promises to myself. Potato chips and chocolate, here I come!” 5/5
